There are people, landscapes, and emotions behind every bite. That’s why we only choose the very best ingredients: we do not necessarily subscribe to the zero-mile philosophy, but we are always looking for the right ingredients in terms of the season, the environment and their origins.
We prefer to work with artisan farmers and producers, like ourselves, who want to protect products and animals that are at risk of extinction. For example, we are concerned about the bees, those fragile little workers that play a vital role in our ecosystem.
Fratelli Pierozzi therefore only uses carefully selected honey from small producers: Arezzo beekeepers who take care of their hives, collect their honey, and handle every stage of the production process, from capturing the swarm to potting the honey.
